Vanessa and Nick Lachey are expecting a baby boy.

The couple - who married in June 2011 - are reportedly "so thrilled" to be welcoming a son into the world in September. Friends told In Touch that the pair have been discussing names but "haven't picked one yet."

Vanessa recently admitted she was hoping the baby would be a boy because she loved the idea of a "mini" version of her husband: "It's going great, knock on wood! I'm feeling awesome and no morning sickness, no crazy cravings. I've always envisioned a little boy first. Maybe because when I fell in love with Nick - the man of my dreams and the father of my children - I could easily imagine falling in love with the mini-him; that's how I see it."

And the 31-year-old presenter won't be afraid to join in when it comes to male activities either when the youngster is a little older. "I want to be able to throw a baseball with my son and want to be able to just wrestle with him in the yard, and I want to do all that fun stuff," she said.

However, Vanessa is also keen for them to have a girl in the future: "I can't wait, when we keep having more children, to sprinkle boys and girls throughout the family. And if I have a little girl, she's going to be Nick's angel, I'm sure!"
