Miley Cyrus doesn't know where her engagement ring is.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer split from fiance Liam Hemsworth in September last year and claims she doesn't know where the 3.5-carat Neil Lane sparkler he proposed with - estimated to be worth $100,000 - is currently located.

When asked about its whereabouts, Miley replied, "Don't know. Think it's in the shower."

Speaking more seriously, the 21-year-old star added she and Liam, 24, are still on good terms and in contact with each other. "We still talk and communicate. I was with him since I was 16 and nothing's ever going to make that go away. I've known this guy all that time and if it doesn't work out I can still smile and love him and he can love me and that's great, that's the way to be," she added to LOVE.

Miley and Liam met on the set of romantic drama film The Last Song in 2010 and got engaged when she was just 19. Following their split he told her to keep the ring. "[He] wants Miley to keep the ring. He wouldn't ask for it back. Liam told Miley to keep it and do with it what she wanted. He told her to keep it as a memento of their love affair. When Liam bought that ring, he truly believed he would be spending the rest of his life with her. Now he realizes they are both just too young to be ready for such a big commitment," a source said.
