Kim Kardashian reportedly tried to ''initiate an affair'' with Kanye West while she was dating Reggie Bush.

The 33-year-old reality TV star has reportedly had her eye on the 36-year-old rapper for a while and even attempted to seduce him during her three-year on/off relationship with the American footballer, which ended in 2010.

"Kim attempted several times to initiate an affair with Kanye and even was busted by Reggie for it. It led to a couple of their short term break-ups," a source said.

Kim and Kanye - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - have only been dating for two years, but they've known each other for much longer. "Even Kim herself admits that while she loved Reggie, she was obsessed with Kanye because she found him fashionable and exciting in a way that Reggie just wasn't," the source explained.

Meanwhile, the couple - who got engaged in October - are set to tie the knot next month in Paris, France, and are reportedly keen to have another child next year. "She wants to start trying by the end of the year - even though she hated being pregnant. She's so besotted with North that she says she's totally forgotten the awfulness of being pregnant and how much she struggled," an insider said.
