Justin Bieber Upsets Fans at Airport
Justin Bieber complained he felt "disrespected" by fans while waiting for girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The "Never Say Never" hitmaker was waiting for the Disney star at Toronto airport on June 15 when some of his devotees approached asking for autographs, prompting the 18-year-old star to complain at their impatience.
In a video posted on website HollywoodLife.com, he tells waiting fans, "Do I not have any right as a human being to wait for my own girlfriend? Why do you have to be so impatient?"
After one fan points out they have waited all day, he responded, "I've been here waiting for my girlfriend. I'm still a human being, I have a right to wait for my own girlfriend. You're not being very respectful at all. I feel very disrespected with all you guys waiting. You say you're really my fans, but then why are you doing this. I've had a long day, I flew in. I don't have to be nicer about it. You guys are in my face."
Meanwhile, Justin was forced to perform acoustically on Monday night when he "blew up" the Apollo Theater in New York and the power went out for 40 minutes.
"We hear the fire alarm. Literally, the boy blew up the Apollo - he heated up the Apollo," his manager Scooter Braun said.
The problem was supposed to be fixed within minutes, but power was suspended for 40 minutes, so Justin returned to the stage for a stripped-back performance. "He walks out, he literally quiets the crowd, and he says, 'I'm sorry the power is out... But you guys have always had my back. I'm going to sing 'Boyfriend' and you're going to sing it back to me. It was one of the most special nights I have ever been a part of," he explained.
