Sandra Bullock‘s estranged husband - who has allegedly cheated on the Oscar-winning actress with at least four other women - is believed to have checked himself into a rehabilitation center to receive treatment for sex addiction.

Jesse James’ representative confirmed he had been admitted to a facility, but refused to specify where he was staying or what he was receiving help for.

The rep told People: “Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues. He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage.” A source added that it was “100 percent his own idea.”

TMZ reports the West Coast Choppers owner is staying at the Sierra Tucson rehab center in Arizona which specializes in drug, alcohol and sex addictions. (According to the website, this is also the same rehab center Bullock once spent time in in order to prep for her role in the movie 28 Days.)

It was reported yesterday that Sandra had decided to divorce Jesse, just weeks after tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee made claims about their 11-month affair. It is believed Jesse’s rehab stay is a last-ditch attempt to save his marriage.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “He offered to go to the same rehab centre that golfer Tiger Woods went to if Sandra would support him and stick with him. She said ‘no’, and that basically he’s the scum of the earth.”

Meanwhile, a photograph of Jesse giving a Nazi salute has emerged. The controversial image shows the tattooed biker wearing a SS officer’s hat - part of the outfit worn by the Schutzstaffel, a special division of the Nazi army during World War II - while holding two fingers to his mouth and pointing his other arm in the air.

Us Weekly gained a copy of the picture which was apparently taken at a party around 2004, a year before he wed Sandra.
