Emma Watson is dating an Oxford University rugby hunk.

The 23-year-old actress - who split from William Adamowicz during the summer - has been seeing Matthew Janney, 21, and although their romance is still in the early stages the pair have hit it off well and are "very much into each other."

"It's early days but they're very much in to each other. Matt's a real hit with the girls but he may have finally met his match. She doesn't suffer fools gladly. But Matt's a lovely guy, charismatic and intelligent. They make a great couple," a source said.

Matt - who competed in last month's Varsity game against Cambridge - was known as a womanizer before meeting Emma and even had a friend put "#anothernotchonthebedpost" alongside a message on Twitter.

Emma is currently studying English at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, US, but the star attended Worcester College, Oxford for the 2011-12 academic year.
