Nick and Vanessa Lachey have welcomed a son.

Vanessa gave birth to Camden John Lachey on Wednesday, and the proud parents say he has "redefined love" for them. "We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us," they told People.

Vanessa previously admitted she was hoping the baby would be a boy because she loved the idea of a "mini" version of her 38-year-old husband: "It's going great, knock on wood! I'm feeling awesome and no morning sickness, no crazy cravings. I've always envisioned a little boy first. Maybe because when I fell in love with Nick - the man of my dreams and the father of my children - I could easily imagine falling in love with the mini-him; that's how I see it."

And the 31-year-old presenter won't be afraid to join in when it comes to male activities either when the youngster is a little older. "I want to be able to throw a baseball with my son and want to be able to just wrestle with him in the yard, and I want to do all that fun stuff," she has said.
