Amanda Seyfried is reportedly dating Josh Hartnett.

The 26-year-old actress - who has been involved in high profile relationships with the likes of Dominic Cooper and Ryan Phillippe in the past - is said to have been "hanging out" with the 33-year-old hunk since they were introduced by mutual friends in January.

"Josh likes to keep things low-key, so they've just been hanging out," a source told US Weekly.

The new romance comes just weeks after the Mamma Mia actress split from real estate broker Justin Huchel, following a doomed relationship with real estate executive Andrew Joblon late last year.

However, Amanda recently claimed she doesn't have the "energy" to be in a relationship and was happy being single: "Although I think it's easier to be in a relationship than be single, I just don't know if I have the energy at the moment. In the past, whenever a relationship of mine ended, my friends would tell me to be single for a while - that it would be good for me. You don't have to check in with anybody except your mother, and there's all this freedom. You realize how many pressures come from being with someone."
