Alyssa Milano is expecting a baby girl.

The former Charmed actress - who first revealed her pregnancy in March - and husband David Bugliari are set to welcome their first daughter into the world, a sister for two-year-old son Milo.

Alyssa announced the happy news in a video blog yesterday, in which she said, "I'm in my Mistresses dressing room and I wanted to share with you guys that I am expecting a little, sweet baby girl! David, Milo and I could not be happier. Truly, we could not be happier. So exciting!"

The 41-year-old beauty couldn't contain her joy as she received an influx of messages from fans on Twitter congratulating her and David. "I'm smiling so big right now reading all of your sweet messages. Thank you for the well wishes. We are so very happy," Alyssa tweeted.

The Mistresses star, who wed Hollywood talent agent David in 2009 and gave birth to Milo in August 2011, revealed the couple were trying for another baby in February and announced her second pregnancy just a month later.

Earlier this year, Alyssa claimed her husband was taking ginseng, a herbal remedy believed to increase virility, to improve their chances of conceiving. "We are actively trying. David's just chugging down ginseng!" she said.
