Not all of his shots were perfect, but Tiger Woods proved he could stay cool under immense pressure - and a few liberal doses of public ridicule - at the opening round of the Masters Tournament. The event is the most prestigious in all of golf, but the very highbrow tourney had a very different atmosphere this time around.
Some fans continue to support Tiger, while others chose to send a very opposite message to the fallen hero. Keep reading to find out what extremely embarrassing thing happened when Tiger stepped up to tee off his first ball of the day.

As Tiger Woods prepared to hit his first ball in the opening of the Masters tournament, a plane appeared in the sky. This would have been commonplace if the flying machine wasn’t toting a sign that read “Tiger: Did You Mean Bootyism?” The message was a direct jab at Tiger, who recently stated that he’s been re-developing his spiritualism through Buddhist practices. Moments later, a new plane bearing a second banner appeared: “Sex Addict? Yeah. Right. Sure. Me Too!”
Think they were from Elin Nordegren?
Either way, the golfer remained unperturbed. He stepped up to the ball and hit a line drive down the middle of the fairway, sending it 300 yards away. At the end of the day, he earned his best first-round performance in Masters history. Final tally for Day 1: 68.
