2010 Emmy Awards Jimmy Fallon

While the Television Academy was busy giving our their on Sunday night, we were hard at work on the red carpet fashion awards.

Description

True Blood star dazzled in a bejeweled Alexander McQueen number that looks like it was taken right from the Cleopatra set. The clunky jewelry and large grandma heels certainly didn’t help the over-shouldered, over-the-top look of this little frock, and that’s why Anna is definitely not a Best Dressed nominee.

Description

Best Actress nominee showed off her slimmed-down figure in this form-fitting navy frock from Oscar de la Renta. The ruffled bottom and eye-catching jewelry add the perfect embellishment to the Glee star’s elegant look. Lea actually makes it look easy to wear this stunning number, scoring her a nomination for Most Fabulous.

Description

Temple Grandin star is a big winner at the close of Sunday night, scoring not only the Best Actress statue for her dramatic TV movie turn but our award for Best Dressed. Danes truly sparkled in this floor-length Armani Prive frock. Her loose blonde locks were the perfect complement to her jewel-encrusted look.

Description

is a serious contender for the Worst Mess award in this purple number from Monique Lhuillier - but let’s not blame it all on the frock. Some of the blame surely belongs to Kyra’s windswept, devil-may-care hairdo - not to mention that huge, very gaudy purple ring that’s almost as big as her whole hand. The hem is about an inch too long and the cut does nothing to flatter Sedgwick’s figure. We can only be thankful that Emmys are given on acting merit and not style - otherwise, Kyra would not have walked out of the Nokia with a statue.

Description

Glee‘s definitely looks like the Best Supporting Actress award-winner she is in this Ali Rahimi gown. The flowing, off-the-shoulder purple number easily earns Lynch a spot on the Most Fabulous nominee list.

Description

United States of Tara lead managed to become a two-time nominee on Sunday night with this Valentino potato sack, earning a nod from us for the Worst Mess prize. Not only is gray not Toni’s color, but this dress doesn’t even seem to properly fit her. The sagging bodice and dragging hem certainly aren’t doing her any favors.

Description

Emmy nominee certainly doesn’t look like a mother of two in this stunning, low-cut Max Azria gown. Amy’s not carrying a clutch because she doesn’t need one - this light gray gown already has it all. Poehler is most certainly a Most Fabulous contender in this gorgeous red carpet choice.

Description

should have taken a cue from her fellow SNL alum from up above. We have no idea where Kristen got this big-shouldered, black and white frock, but we’re extremely confused as to why no one told her it’s a bad idea to wear it out in public. The hairdo isn’t Wiig’s best attempt and the clutch doesn’t match. Put it all together, and we’ve got a winner: Wiig is definitely the Worst Mess of the 2010 Emmy red carpet. Sorry, Kristen!

Description

managed to rock the red carpet in this colorful, age-appropriate two-piece. As she told one fashion , “it came right out of a little shop called the back of my closet.” Betty White is easily the Most Fabulous wherever she goes, and she’s definitely the winner of our Most Fabulous Emmy red carpet award for 2010. Way to show those kids how to dress, Betty.
