Nicollette Sheridan Files Lawsuit Against Former ABC Bosses

Was Nicollette Sheridan really assaulted by her former Desperate Housewives boss…or is she simply desperate for attention?
In a new lawsuit filed Monday, the former ABC actress claims a September 2008 incident between herself and writer Marc Cherry was the reason she was let go from the hit show.
According to the papers, Nicollette was pulled aside and struck in her head and face after she “questioned Cherry about something that was in the script.” Although she supposedly reported the incident to ABC, she was later written out of the program.

Sheridan, whose character Edie Britt was killed off a year ago, is now suing ABC, ABC Studios, Touchstone Television and Cherry for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. Nicollette, who claims the termination has forced her to lose “millions in future earnings,” is asking for $20 million.
The blonde beauty is supposedly not the only person to receive the brunt of Marc’s anger. The show’s creator has reportedly created a hostile work environment with his “extremely abusive and aggressive manner toward the individuals who work on the show.” She alleges that Cherry once said he hopes “Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies” after she went behind and his back and complained to execs.
In response to the allegations, ABC Studios offered People this statement: “While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit.”
I can’t wait to hear what Teri Hatcher has to say about all of this!
