Lindsay Lohan Sent to Jail
We asked if Lindsay Lohan would go to jail on Friday, and now we have the answer: yes. The actress was sentenced to 120 days in the slammer for probation violation after a double hearing in which she faced this and a grand felony theft charge.

Lohan is no longer facing charges of felony theft for the $2500 necklace she allegedly took from a California jewelry store, but the matter (now a misdemeanor charge) will go to trial.
In the meantime, she’s being court-ordered to complete 480 hours of community service in addition to her 120-day jail stint. Lohan must spent 360 of her service hours at the Downtown Women’s Center. The other 120 hours will be served at the L. A. County morgue. That’s gotta be a far cry from a Disney movie set.
Judge Sautner didn’t take it easy on the former movie star. “I see brazenness here,” she said while sentencing Linds. “On one hand, I think Ms. Lohan has earned her right for a felony… She has thumbed her nose at the court, she has walked into the court with FU on her fingernails.”
Lohan’s pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 11. The trial itself is booked for June 3.
