Kim Kardashian may have won the baby shower battle, but it looks as though her baby daddy Kanye West won't be around to see her give birth to their first child.

A source close to the couple have revealed that the rapper won't be present at the hospital when the reality star brings their daughter into the world, on account of him being too squeamish. “He won’t be in the delivery room. Kanye’s very squeamish and doesn’t want to be around blood and pass out. This is Kim’s worst nightmare," said the source.

Considering that the high-profile pair haven't even been with each other for the duration of her pregnancy, it's not all that surprising that the "New Slaves" hitmaker won't be there to see his first kid be born. Or perhaps he just knows that he just might pass out and doesn't want the Keeping Up with the Kardashians crew to film it (he does, after all, kind of hates that show).

Kim is thought - and rightfully so - to be upset by West's refusal to appear at the birth, as another source added: “Kim thought she was getting her happily ever after, but things didn’t turn out as she’d hoped.”

The reality star is due to give birth in July.
