Britney Spears is finally getting good headlines and positive gossip. She’s got an album that’s sure to be hit, a tour that’s going to be a success and a documentary that’s going to be re-ran about seven hundred times. But she’s also got an ex-husband who’s got a voice of his own - one that’s sure to be heard.
Kevin Federline has recently opened up about Brit and the past in an interview with People magazine. The father of four (Shar Jackson is the mother of Kori, 6, and Kaleb, 4, Britney the mother of Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2) has been brought up in conversation by Spears several times recently. Now, he’s going to go on the record when it comes to her.

In the interview, K-Fed retells where the couple met (a Hollywood club named Joseph’s) and that “we just hit it off right away.” He says that the wedding itself was one of his happiest memories. “I pretty much realized that I was giving my life to her, and I was doing it without question.”
It’s not so romantic when you consider the very public divorce, resulting so soon after joyous vows were exchanged. “It’s hard to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids, it changes everything,” Federline says of the break-up. “I’d become more concerned with my children,” he admits, saying that he was “completely blindsided” when she filed for divorce.
As for hard feelings between the two, Federline had few things to say about Brit that didn’t sound positive. “That’s the mother of my children. Just because I’m not in love with her doesn’t mean that I don’t love her. I’m definitely rooting for her.”
