UPDATE: Both Hugh and Kendra have also acknowledged the end of their relationships.
So much for the rumors of a fourth girlfriend. It looks like Hugh Hefner may soon be starting all over again—period.
Despite constant denials about changes within the Playboy Mansion, Holly Madison recently admitted to TMZ that she is no longer the Hef. This news comes just as the fifth season of The Girls Next Door is getting underway.
Over the past few weeks, the buzz around the trio’s status has really started to pick up. Paparazzi photos of Holly Madison partying with illusionist Criss Angel haven’t helped the matter. Neither has Kendra Wilkinson’s supposed relationship with Philadelphia Eagles star Hank Baskett.

Just a few weeks ago, Hugh addressed the breakup rumors to Us Magazine. Although he denied a split with Madison, he was very realistic about their future together.
“She is still my girlfriend. Now will that last? I don’t think anything lasts forever. I love her very much, but you know, she wants very much to get married and have children. That isn’t very much in the cards for me. So there has to be a certain reality there. And I’m sure the time will come when she’ll be dating others. That’s part of the transition.”
In a later conversation with FOX News, the 82-year-old once again said the group was still intact. He even pointed out that they were all signed up for another installment of their reality show.
“It’s all rumors without question. We have just completed our fifth season and we’re all still together and have just signed on to a sixth season, which we start filming in the new year. There may be some transitions to the relationships though, we’ll see.”

But as it turns out, being “together” - or even working “together” - doesn’t necessarily mean that you are still living “together.” It also doesn’t mean that you can’t still date other people. (At least in Hef’s world that is.)
In Holly’s interview with the TMZ photographer, the 28-year-old revealed that while she is planning to film another season with the girls, she is in the process of moving out of the mansion. She also acknowledged her split with Hugh on her MySpace blog:
“Hef and I will always be friends . . . I do have my own place, but I am still at the Mansion, too, right now . . . I’m too busy to move! hahaha . . . Bridget, Kendra and I are all still best friends and plan on doing several projects together in the future . . . even though Bridget is in Europe right now and I am sad and lonely without her . . .
You will see how it all happens in Season 5 . . . Sunday nights on E! . . . How lame, I just turned that into the most shameless plug ever . . . lol!
Love-Holly”
So what will this all eventually mean for Kendra and Bridget Marquardt? I guess we’re just gonna have to watch the show to find out!
The Girls Next Door airs Sunday nights @ 10pm on E!.
