Should Betty Ford start making room for Charlie Sheen?

Early Tuesday morning, New York police officers responded to The Plaza Hotel after receiving a call about an “intoxicated male.” Upon arriving, they reportedly found a “drunk and naked” Sheen trashing his hotel room.

The Two and Half Men star, who completed a stint in rehab just two months ago, had been spending time in the city with ex-wife Denise Richards – who was staying in a different hotel room – and their two daughters, Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.

According to reports, Charlie returned to his room late last night with an unidentified woman after a night of partying. When he discovered that his cell phone and wallet were missing, he went into a rage and destroyed furniture in his room.

Sheen was not arrested, but was transported via ambulance for evaluation. Richards accompanied the 45-year-old to the hospital.

Although a source tells RadarOnline that Charlie had been using cocaine while with the woman (an alleged prostitute), the actor’s rep claims he simply had a bad reaction to some sort of medication.

“What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital, where (he) is expected to be released tomorrow,” Stan Rosenfield stated.
