Just when you thought he could finally rest in peace…

Although Heath Ledger‘s passing happened over two months ago, the star is still garnering news…and he has his family to thank for most of it. 

After it was revealed that the Brokeback Mountain star did not provide for his daughter, Matilda, in his outdated will, Heath’s father assured everyone that the 2-year-old would be taken care of.  Unfortunately, this announcement forced Kim Ledger’s estranged brothers to come out of the woodwork and cry foul.  Apparently Heath’s pop was previously accused of mishandling another relative’s estate when he was appointed overseer.

Now there’s the chance that another party could shake up matters a bit more.  A possible love child.

According to one of his uncles, Heath engaged in an affair with an older woman back when he was only 17.  That woman - who was living with another man at the time - later gave birth to a baby girl.  Although the child is generally accepted as not being Ledger’s, the possibility does still exist.

I for one choose to hope (and believe) that Matilda is the only child he left behind.  If so, you’d think the mother of his first daughter would have definitely come forth by now to claim her share of his wealth.
