Dennis Hopper Diagnosed with Cancer
Dennis Hopper’s manager has recently released a statement to inform the public that Hopper is suffering from prostate cancer. He has canceled all his travel plans so he can focus on fighting the illness.
Hopper, 73, will be treated at the University of Southern California. Manager Sam Maydew offered few details about the actor’s condition, saying only “We’re hoping for the best.”
During his long Hollywood career, Hopper has been nominated for one Best Supporting Actor Academy Award (Hoosiers, 1987). He’s acted in more than 100 films, making his first movie appearance in 1955. He currently stars in the Starz series Crash.
