It’s no secret that Ali Lohan is trying to follow in big sister Lindsay’s footsteps - she’s already said as much in her interviews. Ali, 14, has recently debuted her first single “All the Way Around” (it can be found here on YouTube). Here’s the surprising part: it’s pretty good.

The somewhat repetitive song has a rhythmic R&B feel that’s somewhat different from Lindsay Lohan’s poppy sound, and Ali’s vocals sound very mature. Ali calls her soon-to-be-released album “more hip-hop. Kind of like Rihanna.” If this first single is any indication of Ali’s sound, I think the album could be pretty good. All the way around.

Now that Ali is officially part of the music industry, can the public expect a duet featuring the famous sisters? “We talked about it,” Ali told interviewers, “I think that would be awesome.”

But Ali isn’t the only Lohan still bucking for stardom. Ashley Kaufmann, the alleged sister of both Ali and Lindsay, has reportedly been approaching record companies about creating an album of her own. One unnamed source says, “Ashley has more talent than Lindsay or Ali.”

Will she get the chance to prove it? Right now, Kaufman’s true heritage still remains unconfirmed. Michael Lohan, who sired both Lindsay and Ali, has taken a paternity test. The results should be available in approximately two weeks, and then at least one Lohan mystery will be solved.

Big sister Lindsay Lohan, who made her big screen acting debut at age 11, plans to release her third album this fall. Lohan’s debut album, Speak, was certified platinum.
