Hollywood Baby Roundup: January 29, 2009

Elisabeth and Tim Hasselbeck

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: One thing’s for sure - this View cohost will never run out of things to talk about. On today’s episode, the 31-year-old announced that and she and her husband, Tim, are expecting their third child. The couple, married since 2002, already have a 3-year-old girl and a 15-month-old boy.

Chad Lowe: Although he’ll probably always be remembered for crying during Hilary Swank’s Oscar speech, the actor will now have something new to tear up about. Lowe and his girlfriend, Kim Painter, are now going to be parents. The baby is due later this summer.

Billy Martin: The rockers of Good Charlotte may need to add a full nursery to their tour buses. On Jan. 26th, guitarist Billy Martin and his wife, Linzi, welcomed a son. Dreavyn Kingslee is the second child for the band members. Singer Joel Madden and Nicole Richie became parents last year.

Jo Dee Messina: The country artist and her husband just became first-time parents. Messina, married to Chris Deffenbaugh since October 2007, delivered a bouncing baby boy on January 19. It’s Jo Dee’s plan to take Noah Roger Deffenbaugh on the road with her when she begins touring this April.

Rachel Griffiths: The Brothers & Sisters star may not have won anything at the Golden Globes, but she still managed to get attention that night. Due to speculation about her flowy dress, the 40-year-old finally revealed that she is pregnant. Griffiths, who already has a 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter with husband Andrew Taylor, says she is expecting her third child in July. The pregnancy will not be written into her show.

Kimora Lee Simmons: Life is just about to get a little more Fab for Kimora. The reality show star and Baby Phat designer - like Hasselbeck and Griffiths - is now pregnant with her third child. Although she officially

divorced

filed for divorce from Russell Simmons back in 2008, the 33-year-old has been dating actor Djimon Hounsou since February 2007. Kimora already has two daughters: Ming Lee, 8, and Aoki Lee, 6.

Bear Grylls: The Man vs. Wild star may have a new reason to stay out of trouble. Grylls and his wife, Shana, welcomed a son earlier this month. The boy, named Huckleberry Edward Jocelyne Grylls, is the couple’s third child. Jesse and Maramaduke are Huckleberry’s two older brothers.
