Sofia Vergara and Nick LoebSofia Vergara and Nick Loeb are likely to wed soon.

The Modern Family star and her businessman fiance are set to walk down the aisle in the near future, according to Nick's father, John Loeb Jr., who believes their union will be "wonderful" because they have such a solid relationship.

"They've been together for three years. He met her when she was a model. I think it would be a wonderful marriage," he told the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l section. John, a former United States Ambassador to Denmark, is hopeful Nick and Sofia will decide to have a baby together wants to become a grandfather again. "I already have two grandchildren, but I'd love to have more," he said.

The philanthropist's comments are a departure from previous reports, since Sofia - who has a son Manolo, 22, from a previous relationship - has so far remained coy about her plans to marry entrepreneur Nick and hinted the pair could have a long engagement. "I was thinking the other day that Americans take engagements like, 'OK, we're engaged. It means let's plan weddings.' But for a couple of Latin Americans, you get engaged, but it's like another stage in your love life. It doesn't mean, 'OK, let's immediately call the flower place.' It's like another period," she previously said.

Minka Kelly and Chris EvansMinka Kelly and Chris Evans have split up for the second time.

The duo, who reunited in September 2012 after briefly dating and breaking up in 2007, recently decided to end their romance due to their conflicting busy schedules. "It didn't make sense for them to be together right now," a source told Us Weekly magazine.

The 33-year-old actress, who previously dated Derek Jeter and Jake Gyllenhaal, is currently shooting the TV series Almost Human in Vancouver, Canada, while Chris, 32, is gearing up to direct the movie 1:30 Train in New York City.

But it seems the pair could reunite in the future when long distance is no longer a factor. The source said the former couple, who were all over each other at a Beyonce concert in Los Angeles in July, are on good terms and are "still care about each other." A friend previously revealed that they had been trying to take their relationship slowly because The Avengers star Chris, who was previously linked to Jessica Biel, was hurt when Minka suddenly ended their romance six years ago. The insider said, "She did a number on him back then. But she reached out to Chris this time. He's still a little insecure, so he's being cautious."

Michael LohanMichael Lohan says Lindsay Lohan's friends shouldn't drink in front of her.

The troubled actress' father has warned her pals not to consume alcohol when they're out with Lindsay and is worried their influence might make the recovering alcoholic's sobriety resolution waver. Michael told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l section, "She's absolutely fine. She's always great, she's up early every day and I'm happy that she's sober. If [her friends] care about her, they won't drink in front of her."

Lindsay - who completed a 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab this summer - was followed by Oprah Winfrey's OWN network for an eight-part series about her life after treatment, which earned her a massive $2 million pay check. However, the 27-year-old star was spotted on a night out at Sing Sing Karaoke bar in New York City's East Village with some girlfriends - and a male model, thought to be rumored boy toy Liam Dean - on Monday. According to Confidenti@l, Lindsay tried to start a verbal fight and refused to leave at closing time, staying until nearly 6am. While Lindsay did not drink any alcohol herself, her friends finished an entire bottle of Jameson whiskey.

Miley Cyrus, Courtney Love, and Katy Perry

Courtney Love thinks that Katy Perry is "kind of sad."

The grunge rocker isn't a huge fan of the "Roar" singer since she got her major record label deal in 2007, saying she preferred her when she had just been discovered by producer Glen Ballard when she was still a teenager. "I liked Katy when she was in a black shag and the shy girl on Glen Ballard's arm at events. She was damaged goods by the time she got to Capitol [Records]. She really worked for it - 'It' being a career I find so boring it's sort of sad, but what she wears is cute and in her own universe," she told Interview.

Kim Kardashian's engagement ring

Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian while one of his own songs was playing.

The rapper reportedly popped the question to his reality star girlfriend - with whom he has four-month-old daughter North - with the help of a 50-piece orchestra who played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," before the band serenaded Kim with Kanye's chart-topping hit "Knock You Down," which also features Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo on record. According to E! News, the hip-hop star rented out the whole of San Francisco's AT&T Park for the special occasion, which also marked Kim's 33rd birthday yesterday.

Katy Perry says John Mayer is her biggest crush.

The "Roar" hitmaker harbored secret feelings for her singer/songwriter boyfriend long before they got together and still can't believe she is dating her dream pin-up. When quizzed if she has a cinematic crush, Katy quipped, "I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great."

The 28-year-old star likes snuggling up with John to watch romantic movies, but always ends up sobbing into his shoulder - which can prove embarrassing during long-haul flights. Discussing her favorite films, she told W magazine: The Notebook. And Titanic. And I always cry on planes. My boyfriend [John] and I call them 'deprivation tubes' - you have a glass of wine, and you're watching a movie, and then, wahhhh."

Katy also touched upon her 14-month marriage to comedian Russell Brand, which ended in December 2012, claiming it just wasn't meant to be. When asked if she liked being married, she sighed, "Of course. I really loved it. It was a new, fun, exciting journey. But I like how I am now, and I think all things happen for a reason."

Jennifer O'Neill and Lady GagaLady Gaga has settled the lawsuit placed against her by her former assistant and ex-best friend.

The pop singer's former employee Jennifer O'Neill hit at Gaga with a lawsuit claiming the pop singer owed her $380,000 in overtime pay. In the lawsuit, O'Neill claims to have been at Gaga's side 24/7, even to the point of having to sleep in the same bed with her in case she needed something in the middle of the night.

In her 200-page witness statement, Gaga called O'Neill a "hoodrat who is suing me for money that she didn't earn." Gaga continued, "The job was essentially a favor, and Jennifer was majorly unqualified for it." In her deposition testimony, Gaga stated, "You don't get a schedule. You don't get a schedule that is like you punch in and you can play ... at your desk for four hours and then you punch out at the end of the day. This is when I need you, you're available."

The court date was set for November 4, but it has now been ceased as the pair came to an undisclosed agreement.

Chelsea Handler and Reese WitherspoonChelsea Handler mocked Reese Witherspoon's drunken arrest last night.

The chat show host took the opportunity to tease her good friend as she presented the Legally Blonde actress with an award at the ELLE Women In Hollywood 2013 ceremony, joking about her infamous disorderly conduct arrest video. The footage, which leaked online in April, saw Reese verbally insult a policeman who arrested her husband Jim Toth on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) in Atlanta, Georgia.

"'Personally, as a true friend, my favorite project of hers was an overlooked short film that she made earlier this year. She plays a very inebriated housewife defending her inebriated husband ... And if you haven't seen it, you can go on YouTube," Chelsea said.

Reese took the joke well and was seen doubled over laughing in her seat as good sport Jim chuckled next to her. There were clearly no hard feelings between the pair as Reese posed next to Chelsea for a photo opportunity at the swanky banquet held at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills.

Kim KardashianKim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly planning to have another baby.

The 33-year-old reality TV star and the rapper only welcomed their first born, daughter North, into the world in June, but are already considering extending their family as they are concerned time may not be on their side when it comes to conceiving. "They are discussing having another baby right away. It's serious. [Kim] is well aware that she's getting older, and that if she wants to have a bigger family, then she needs to get it done," a source told RadarOnline.

Kim has been taking part in a gruelling exercise regime and sticking to the Atkins diet in a bid to return to her post-baby weight, but she's now considering ditching the tough fitness techniques. "Kim is telling Kanye that she doesn't think it makes sense to gain pregnancy weight, lose it, and then gain it all back again. She's starting to think she might want to just suck it up and be big and pregnant in one long go and then lose the weight once and for all. Kanye likes Kim at any size, so that part doesn't matter to him but he loves the idea of having another baby soon," the source explained.

Amanda BynesAmanda Bynes will be allowed out of rehab twice a week.

The 27-year-old actress was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in July after her wild behavior led to her allegedly being diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but she appears to be on the road to recovery as she will be given a pass for supervised outings every week.

"Amanda is being given two passes a week to go the beach, or out to eat and do things like that, accompanied by a professional handler. She is making great progress," a source told FOX411.

The Easy A star was moved to The Canyon treatment facility in Malibu at the end of September after spending two months at UCLA Medical Center and has reportedly been told she will "lead a long, normal life" as long as she continues to take her medication. Amanda's mother Lynn was granted a temporary conservatorship over her daughter in August, shortly after she was taken to a psychiatric unit by police officers, who arrested her after she struck up a small fire in the driveway of a stranger's home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles. Amanda's parents released a statement about her progress two months ago and said they were upbeat about her recovery.
