Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan has laughed off rumors she will appear on Celebrity Big Brother.

The 26-year-old actress has been the subject of speculation recently, with many claiming she would appear on the British reality show. The Liz & Dick star has dismissed the idea, claiming she wants to focus on breaking into musical theater.

"I'm busy acting... I'm a singer. I'd love to do a musical. Something like Mamma Mia!" she told Heat magazine.

Lindsay was tied to Celebrity Big Brother after she arrived in London - where the reality show is filmed - over New Year, but an appearance hasn't materialized since the new series was launched two weeks ago. It has since emerged that she was in the UK because she was invited to attend a Southeast Asian prince's New Year's Eve party - and she was reportedly paid $100,000.

Britney SpearsBritney Spears has confirmed her X Factor departure. The "Toxic" singer quit her role as a mentor on the Fox show in order to focus on her music career and admitting watching the contestants perform every week helped her to make the decision to leave.

"I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens, but it's time for me to get back in the studio. Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most," she explained in a statement.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed Britney, 31, is in "serious talks" for a residency in Las Vegas. According to gossip website TMZ, "Britney and her people are talking about establishing residency for the singer in Sin City and are also in talks with one of the hotels to do a big, nightly show. Negotiations are with one of the Caesars group properties, and they have been wooing her for awhile. There is a lot of interest in Britney's camp over a Vegas move, and a lot of interest on the Vegas side of headlining a show."

Nicki MinajNicki Minaj wants male contestants to flash her on American Idol. The fiery judge insists she will remember those who show off their bodies and was impressed when one eager contestant removed his shirt during the audition stage.

"[The best thing a contestant can do to impress me is] flash me. That would make me remember a person. One boy in particular took off his shirt and was trying to be all sexy," she said.

Nicki also credited her own dysfunctional childhood with giving her the drive to become a star. The "Starships" singer explained, "I dealt with a little bit of a dysfunctional household and my inspiration was if I can just make it out of this, I could help my family and that was my driving force and I've said it for my entire career, but it's the truth. Sometimes, if you attach your dreams to something bigger than you it's like it's impossible for you to ever stop, so my thing was always I've got to get my family out of this kind of life and at times when I thought about giving up, that's what kept me going."

American Idol premieres next week on Wednesday and Thursday at 8/7c on Fox.

Kim KardashianKanye West might force Kim Kardashian to quit reality TV.

The "Clique" singer - who recently announced his girlfriend of nine months is expecting their first child in June - is said to be uncomfortable about the idea of her documenting her pregnancy on her family's series Keeping Up With The Kardashians but is willing to go along with it for now.

A source close to the 35-year-old rapper told HollywoodLife.com, "You know Kanye is just rolling with the punches right now with everything. He not tripping - YET! All this TV is new to him and Kim is explaining to him that everything is going to be OK and she's encouraging him to just go with the fact that the pregnancy -- or at least part of it -- will be filmed. I know deep down, [Kanye] isn't trying to pimp out his baby like that. He and Kim got way more than enough money to take care of 100 kids if they want to have that many. But he know that when it comes to Kim and her family, especially that mother of hers, it's all business and that show is how they make their money. So he juggling all this [stuff] in his head right now, but he ain't all hyped about it yet because it hasn't gone down yet - the filming that is."

Amy Poehler and Tina FeyTina Fey hopes the celebrities at the Golden Globe Awards get drunk and embarrass themselves.

The 30 Rock star will co-host the ceremony with her friend Amy Poehler, but the duo believe alcohol will help make the night more entertaining and are hoping those attending will drink lots.

"Because it's such a fun kind of sloppy night, it's not really about the host giving any kind of big comedy performance. It's our job to keep things moving and also try to get the movie stars more liquored-up so that hopefully someone's boob will fall out of a dress. That's our main role. The luckiest we could get would be for something interesting and spontaneous to happen. We have a lot of spontaneous things planned," Tina said.

However, Parks and Recreation star Amy joked she is going on a pub-crawl before the ceremony on Sunday: "I'm going to pub-crawl it all the way to the venue and then try to take a two-hour blackout nap before we start, and then as soon as the show is over, I'm going to go on a 10-day juice cleanse."

Britney SpearsBritney Spears wants to secure more TV work.

The 31-year-old "Till The World Ends" singer - whose contract with The X Factor reportedly won't be renewed - is said to have instructed her management team to find her a recurring role on a sitcom.

"Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, is reading television scripts that the singer could accept. Britney's dad, Jamie feels that having his daughter on a sitcom would be a good fit for her. Britney needs to be kept busy, and a structured environment such as a television sitcom would be a natural fit for her. There is also a possibility that Britney could get her own television sitcom, but that appears to be more of a long shot. She actually has very natural comedic talents and is very funny, in an airhead sort of way," a source close to the singer said.

Sources previously revealed that the blonde beauty would not be returning to The X Factor after recently completing her one-year contract as a judge alongside Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid.

So it's different but it still feels good because they are legitimate artists. I knew Usher before. We've worked in the studio a couple of times together. Shakira is a new friend but I love her dearly already. She's so sweet and adorable and hilarious."
