On Gear Live: 2024 Nissan Z Nismo Review

Prince Michael JacksonMichael Jackson's son has landed a job as a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

Prince Michael Jackson, 16 - whose father died from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - is hoping the job will lead to a long career in the entertainment industry: "I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor. I've been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed."

While Prince's first interview was with James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi for their new movie,Oz the Great and Powerful, he is hoping his next one will be with Peter Jackson as he loved to watch the director's movies with his dad. "Peter Jackson, I love his movies. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and King Kong. I just love the way he shoots [and how] he brings things and depicts it back to life. I used to study his movies with my dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together," he explained.

Khloe Kardashian on 'The X Factor'Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been fired from X Factor.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star joined Simon Cowell's show last year as a co-presenter with Mario Lopez and while he is set to return next season, Khloe will not be back.

"They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe," a source told The New York Post.

Khloe previously revealed she was asked not to take any hosting lessons before she started, leaving her unprepared for what to expect: "I've never done live TV before, and I was asked to not do any hosting lessons because they wanted me to be just myself. I found the day before because the stage was just built, that I couldn't read the teleprompter without glasses, so I had to get contacts the day before. Just learning how there's a screaming audience and you don't yell because the mic is right there... I will have an earpiece in my ear, and while I'm trying to read the teleprompter then I have someone counting down... and they're like, 'Okay, ask Simon this or that' ... There were so just so many pieces I never knew were involved in live TV."

Sarah Michelle GellarIf there's anything that Sarah Michelle Gellar learned from her stint as Buffy, it's that she shouldn't give up - and give up, she hasn't.

A year after the demise of her CW twin thriller Ringer, Gellar hasn't let its cancellation stop her from returning to the small screen in a big way. The 35 year-old has signed on to join veteran comedian Robin Williams for the upcoming CBS comedy Crazy Ones.

The mother of two will star as Williams' driven, organized daughter set against the workplace backdrop of advertising.

Boston Legal creator David E. Kelley will pen the series pilot and serve as an executive producer alongside Dean Lorey, Bill D'Elia, John Montgomery.

No word yet as to when the pilot begins production.

Britney Spears and Demi LovatoDemi Lovato believes it will be difficult to replace Britney Spears on the X Factor.

Britney, 31, revealed last month that she won't return for the next season of the reality TV show but Demi is worried about finding someone who can match the "Toxic" singer.

"I mean, who can replace Britney, let's be honest," she said.

Britney announced her decision to quit her role as a mentor on the Fox show in order to focus on her music career and admitted watching the contestants perform every week helped her to make the decision to leave. "I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it's time for me to get back in the studio. Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most," she said.

Maggie Smith on 'Downton Abbey'Maggie Smith has never watched Downton Abbey. Although the 78-year-old actress stars as the formidable Dowager Countess Violet Crawley on the show, she admitted she has never tuned in to watch her performance onscreen.

"I don't sit down and watch it. I haven't watched it. I will look at it when it's all over, maybe. Because it's frustrating - I always see things that I would like to do differently and think, 'Oh, why in the name of God did I do that?'" she said in an interview with 60 Minutes.

Despite winning numerous awards - including a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, two Emmys, and a Screen Actors Guild Award - for playing the countess, Maggie insists she has no interest in fame: "I don't feel any different to the way I felt before, and I'm not quite sure what [being a star] means. I am familiar to people now, which is what I was not before. That is entirely due to the television set."

Elisha CuthbertElisha Cuthbert has been named the most beautiful woman on TV. The Happy Endings star has been awarded the annual title by the editors of Maxim magazine and admits the honor is "very flattering."

The 30-year-old blonde beauty said, "To think that one person could be the most beautiful when there's Kaley Cuoco, Sofia Vergara, Zooey Deschanel? They're all stunning. I'm not gonna fight anyone about it, though. I'll accept it with grace. But being on a show with two other beautiful women [Casey Wilson and Eliza Coupe], this is gonna make going to work very uncomfortable. I don't know, this might be a curse."

The former 24 star also admits that she has no problem being an object of lust and thinks that her character as a porn star in the 2004 movie The Girl Next Door was a huge hit because she was subtly sexy: "To be honest, I think one reason guys liked that character so much is because I didn't go fully nude. My character really could be the girl of every guy's dreams, instead of having them see her naked and going, 'Oh, that's not my thing.' Remember Weird Science? Kelly LeBrock never got naked. She didn't show you everything. I think that's why it resonated with more men than it probably should have."

Naomi CampbellNaomi Campbell has always been "afraid" of being on television. The 42-year-old British beauty mentors aspiring models on new show The Face and admitted she initially felt uncomfortable at the thought of being on camera as she has always been keen to protect her privacy.

"I always said I don't want to do television because I was afraid of it, to be honest, and what the fear was, [was] that I had tried to live as privately as I [could] so I didn't feel it would be in my comfort zone to have a camera following me around. But this was a whole different thing. It's not that way at all. It's me getting to share 26 years of what I have been blessed to learn and know and find out about and achieve, with girls who want to be in our business and that's far more fun."

At the height of her career, Naomi - along with Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Kate Moss - was regarded as a supermodel but she dislikes the term, and believes it is now overused in reference to current "working models."

Keith UrbanKeith Urban's all-female household prepared him well for American Idol.

The 45-year-old singer - who sits in between warring pop divas Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on the panel of the singing competition - revealed that living in a "literal oestrogen nest" with wife Nicole Kidman and their two daughters, Sunday Rose, four, and Faith, two, helped him handle the on-set antics between his fellow judges.

When asked how he copes with Mariah and Nicki while on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, his Hollywood starlet wife quipped, "A four year old and a two year old and a wife, a lot of girls in our household."

Keith added, "A literal estrogen nest is where I live."

Kim KardashianIt looks like Britney Spears isn't the only one with dreams of her own sitcom - Kim Kardashian wants in on the comedy business, too.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star enjoyed filming scenes as a marriage counselor in forthcoming movie Temptation and is now keen to branch out further away from reality TV.

"My character is pretty light throughout the film, so it's fun. It was interesting to work with people that I've liked for so long, and just to work with Tyler Perry was amazing and such a good experience. I definitely do see myself branching off and maybe doing a sitcom or something other than reality. I've been in talks [but it] is nothing serious yet," she said.

Despite appearing in several reality TV shows with her family, Kim is keen to keep her baby off the television and will do everything she can to keep the child out of the public eye, though she knows it won't be easy: "When you go places, there are paparazzi and cameras; you can only do so much to avoid it. But I can do what I can to just not have my child on TV."
