Although it was topped by a list of repeats, The Sing-Off still performed well for NBC. Last night’s finale put the network in 2nd place behind CBS in both the viewers and the demos.
8pm
- The Sing-Off (7.2 million, 2.3/6 in 18-49) was up 300,000 from last week.
- I Want a Dog For Christmas, Charlie Brown* (1.8/5) had 5.8 million kids entertained.

Tuesday Ratings: CBS Better Off Than Everyone Else

A good Day 2 showing for The Sing-Off and a finale for So You Think You Can Dance couldn’t keep CBS from overpowering the competition. The NCIS combo did its thing and gave the network wins in both the viewers and the demos.
8pm
- NCIS (20.6 million, 4.3/13 in 18-49) kicked off the night with 20.6 million.
- The Sing-Off (6.9 million, 2.6/7) actually saw improvement in the demos since Monday.
- A repeat airing of A Charlie Brown Christmas* (2.3/7) entertained 6.6 million.
- So You Think You Can Dance (6.3 million, 2.3/7) did the same as last week.
- The Vampire Diaries* (0.6/2) recapped 1.3 million.

Monday Ratings: The Sing-Off Not Flat, Not Sharp

There were some high notes and low notes for NBC’s new musical experiment (The Sing-Off). Although the network saw its best demos in that time period since September (sorry, Heroes!), the Peacock still came in third with both the viewers and the demos last night.
8pm
- How I Met Your Mother (10.2 million, 3.9/11 in 18-49) had an additional 1.1 million lighting up.
- Accidentally on Purpose (9.3 million, 3.3/9) picked up 1 million.
- The Sing-Off (2.3/6) averaged 6.9 million over two hours.
- House* (2.1/6) turned in 6.7 million.
- Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home For Christmas (1.2/3) only drew in 5.6 million for ABC.
- The Vampire Diaries* (0.7/2) kicked off its marathon with 1.6 million.
