Taylor Swift to Host Saturday Night Live

Taylor Swift

Too bad Kanye West doesn’t have a tour to distract him right now.

It’s just been announced that the rapper’s last victim, country star , will be pulling double duty on Saturday Night Live next month. The gig - which had been planned since this summer - will come less than a year after the “Fifteen” singer served as the musical guest. (Her small cameo in a Broadway-themed skit can be seen after the jump.)

So what kind of sketches can we expect the 19-year-old to participate in? “I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” Swift told the Associated Press. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.”

Another Epic SNL F-Bomb Moment

Today, everyone’s talking about an . It is amazing that such a thing could happen in today’s times of extreme FCC regulation. But here’s the thing: it’s happened before. When it’s live TV, bloopers of all kinds are going to happen. For those who remember seeing John Belushi tear up the set, Jimmy Fallon breaking up into giggles in almost every skit he was in and Eddie Murphy quickly glossing over a flub while he played a black activist, an SNL mistake is just more entertainment.

Hey SNL…What Happened to Darrell Hammond?

Today, everyone’s talking about SNL’s new female cast member. She was hired to shake things up a bit, and that she did, by dropping the live on the show’s 35th season premiere. But Jenny Slate’s oops moment was already eclipsed by Lorne Michaels’.

Where the hell is Darrell Hammond on the opening credits, hmm? The actor showed up on Thursday to do his famous Bill Clinton impersonation but was mysteriously missing from the Saturday version of the show. Hammond has served fourteen years with the series to become the most tenured cast member in SNL history…and what? Now he’s out of the weekend loop?

Megan Fox is the Host With the Most

So the sources were true—Megan Fox will indeed be hosting the season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

In the promo clips for the show, which airs on NBC this Saturday night at 11 p.m., Fox jokes with SNL cast member Andy Samberg (focusing yet again on all of the “hot” jokes surrounding the Transformers star).
