Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:

CSI: Miami: No matter what you think of Diddy, you can’t deny the mans’ diversity. Who else could front several reality shows, star in A Raisin in the Sun and take on David Caruso? According to Entertainment Tonight, the mogul is scheduled to air in two episodes of the CBS drama next year. He will play a federal prosecutor (yeah, I know) who has a personal and professional beef with Horatio’s team.

Dirty Sexy Money Makes a Cast Cut

Dirty Sexy Money, Samaire ArmstrongShocking news for fans of .  It’s seems our favorite spoiled twin set will soon be reduced to a solo act.

When the freshman series returns to the airwaves next fall, Jeremy Darling be left to beg for daddy’s money without his codependent fraternal sister.  For some undisclosed reason, ABC has decided not to pick up ‘s contract.  This decision comes coincidentally after the actress decided to take some time off mid-season.  (‘Time off’ meaning she entered a treatment facility for help with some “personal issues”.)

But don’t fret.  Armstrong’s absence does not mean a death by dagger for our dear Juliet.  The character is expected to make occasional appearances on future episodes.  She just won’t be one those people you call ‘regulars’ (or something like that).

‘Dirty Sexy Money’ Star in Treatment Facility

Samaire ArmstrongSomebody call quick.  It looks like a Darling might need some help…

In a case of life imitating art, a star has called on her reps to smooth over a private matter.  Via a vague statement released by her publicist, we’ve learned (Entourage, The O.C.) has admitted herself into treatment for undisclosed reasons.

“Samaire Armstrong decided to enter an outpatient facility to deal with some personal issues in a therapeutic atmosphere and is doing very well.”

Whatever the reason—it apparently doesn’t require a lengthy Lohan-esque stay.  Armstrong will reportedly continue her work on the show.
