ABC Departure Gossip: Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Brothers & Sisters

Grey's Anatomy

Some of your favorite ABC shows might look a little different in the months to come:

Grey’s Anatomy: Do the producers have a thing against blondes? Or sexually ambiguous blondes? Although there was possibility Sadie Harris would be sticking around Seattle Grace for a while, ‘s stint on the show has now ended. The actress - who was originally contracted for at least four episodes - wound up playing intern for a total of eight.

Despite George’s claim that it was her decision to leave the show, sources tell EW that the parting was fairly mutual. (“Melissa’s arc came to a natural end,” reports an insider.) Fortunately for viewers, Sadie’s exit won’t be as random as Erica Hahn’s. “It won’t be a big send-off, but it’s really cool what they do,” George reports.

Billy ZaneMichael Weston

Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:

Ugly Betty: Betty may never change her style, but she’ll always have new love interest. EW reports that actor Daniel Eric Gold (Definitely, Maybe) will be the latest man to enter Suarez’s life. The intelligent fellow will be one of her classmates in her new YETI program. Unfortunately, Gold - who is currently listed as a recurring player - will also come with a “secret.” (I believe that’s a show prerequisite.)
