We also call out all of the Russell Westbrook haters that want the Oklahoma City Thunder to trade their 22-year-old, vastly improving, and dominating-type of point guard because of an assumption that he cannot co-exist with Kevin Durant. In this excellent edition of EndScore Report, DV and Chris make their predictions in the NBA Conference Finals. In the east, we have the Derrick Rose-led Chicago Bulls versus LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and the rest of the Miami Heat. In the west, Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks have had a long wait after sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers, but they finally have an opponent, the Oklahoma City Thunder led by the dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. EndScore Report: Western Conference NBA Playoffs Preview

DV and Chris delve into each series of the Western Conference NBA Playoffs with the San Antonio Spurs versus the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers against the New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks versus Portland Trail Blazers, and Oklahoma City Thunder versus the surging Denver Nuggets. Once again the Spurs are one of the favorites to take the west led by the trio of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan. However, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and the rest of the Lakers are the defending champs. The Dallas Mavericks came close to a title several years ago and the Oklahoma City Thunder look like they'll be contenders for several years with the core duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Who takes the Western Conference series? Peep the opinion of DV and Chris!

2011 NBA All-Star reserves announced

Los Angeles Clippers rookie and odds-on favorite for NBA Rookie of the Year honors, Blake Griffin, is being praised about half a season into his NBA career. Griffin was named one of the Western Conference's All-Star reserves, joining the San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan, Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki, Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol, Utah Jazz point guard Deron Williams, and fellow first-time All-Star, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.

There are plenty of reasons for NBA fans to be interested in the Northwest Division with several captivating stories to pique their interest. For starters, will the Utah Jazz go with Carlos Boozer as its starting power forward, or will it opt for up-and-comer Paul Millsap, thereby making Boozer expendable?
