Meet BB-8 - the app-enabled Droid that's as authentic as it is advanced, and the latest entry in our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide. BB-8 has something unlike any other robot - an adaptive personality that changes as you play. Based on your interactions, BB-8 will show a range of expressions and even perk up when you give voice commands. Set it to patrol and watch your Droid explore autonomously, make up your own adventure and guide BB-8 yourself, or create and view holographic recordings.
It’s now possible to explore the galaxy with your own trusty Astromech Droid by your side. BB-8 is more than a toy - it’s your companion.

2015 Holiday Gift Guide: Mission Belts
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Wearables, Features, Women, Men, Kids, Techies, Teens, Under $100, Under $25, Under $250, Under $50, Under $500,
The Mission Belt is an evolution in belt design, style, and function, and after wearing one for a number of months, I can whole-heartedly recommend it in our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide. The belt is sleek and clean, and provides a perfect fit for everyone. With no holes to stretch or wear over time, your genuine leather belt always looks great. The tip of the belt inserts into the ratchet belt buckle, where a locking mechanism holds the belt in place from the back. To remove the belt, just press the small metal lever on the bottom of the buckle, and the belt slides out of the buckle. You're no longer restricted to 1 inch size adjustments, but can get a perfect custom-fit every time. Not only will you look good, you'll feel good too, because one dollar from every Mission Belt sold goes to help hungry families worldwide become self-sufficient.

Games are a popular holiday gift, and that's why they're a staple in our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide. Up next is the New Nintendo 3DS XL system - yes, that is "New" capitalized. It's part of the name. The console combines next-generation portable gaming with super-stable 3D technology and added control features. Take 3D photos, connect with friends, and enhance your gaming experiences with added amiibo support. The New Nintendo 3DS XL system plays all Nintendo DS games (although, those won’t appear in 3D.) Also, if you buy one, keep in mind that the AC Adapter is sold separately. It uses the same AC adapter as the Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo 2DS, so you might already have one.

2014 Holiday Gift Guide: Nintendo 2DS
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Video Games, Kids, Under $250,
Nintendo's newest, more subdued handheld is next in the Gear Live’s 2014 Holiday Gift Guide. The Nintendo 2DS is basically a Nintendo 3DS in a candybar form factor (no hinge so it doesn't close) that plays all 3DS games in 2D. At launch it will be available in red and blue hues, and is outfitted with the regular (not 3DS XL) sized dual screens, cameras, mono speaker, headphone port, and a 4 GB SD card. In other words, it's just like a Nintendo 3DS, except there is no 3D, and it doesn't close, and you get it all for $129 - $50 cheaper than the 3DS console. You can pick up the Nintendo 2DS now for $129.99.

Whatever the case, this plastic dinner set is meant to teach the little ones some very basic geometry while simultaneously getting them to keep their table setting organized, so we're featuring it in our 2013 Holiday Gift Guide. The rubber padding on the bottom keeps everything in place nicely, minimizing spillage.
