Mimico is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace with a new collection of mimobots. The first will be Darth Maul, which will be released June 10, as the 13th Star Wars flash drive. Sign up for a chance to win one that will include extras such as icons, avatars, screensaver, wallpapers and audio clips. No prices have been announced as yet, but mimico’s other drives from the Star Wars series generally run from $19.95 for 1GB up to $49.95 for 8GB.

mimoco is at it again with their Star Wars Series 3. They will be releasing 3 new mimobots beginning with the Darth Sidious USB Flash Drive. The drives are available with 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB, and come with bonus applications, icons, avatars, screensavers and wallpapers. You can preorder before the July 23 coming out party and choose between sizes at prices beginning at $49.99. mimoco is also holding a contest on their forum where guessing the next character might very well win you one. We are kind of leaning towards Jabba the Hutt.

Mimoco has decided to let you personalize any mimobot flash drive you choose for Dad’s Day at no extra cost. Pick out the style and size you want, then send them an e- to fathersday@mimoco.com with a written or spoken message, photos, videos, and/or songs. After loading them, they will delete the files for your security. To make sure it gets there in time, there is a deadline of today by UPS ground or June 11 for UPS Next Day Air.

Domo Coming to U.S.

While we don’t keep up on all the latest animation characters, Domo (Domo-kun in Japan) is too special to pass up. The creative people of mimoco have decided to release him to the States before his debut on the Nicktoons Network in the form of three Limited Edition mimobots. Included with the USB 2.0 flash drives Domo X, Rasta, and Ninja are 23 original shorts and desktop personalization that includes wallpaper, screensavers, icons, avatars and the soundByte that plays random Domo sounds when the mimbot is used. As per usual, the Series 1 is available in 1GB ($49.95,) 2GB ($69.95,) and 4GB ($109.95) capacities.
