It's beginning to look a lot like the holiday season is fast approaching, yet every day is a holiday on the internets.
If you were going to cast the Doctor Strange movie, and want to argue about it, you could do that at Longbox Graveyard where Paul O’Connor, Chris Ulm and I layout a scenario.
JT Lindroos at Bookgasm looks at a chunk of UK graphic novels to add to your holiday shopping list: Tank Girl, Rogue Trooper, and Torpedo.

Seth MacFarlane is Shocked by Family Guy Success

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Animation, Comedy, FOX, Family Guy, Ratings, Renewals,
Seth MacFarlane "never expected" Family Guy to go on for as long as it has.
The creator of the adult animated show - which was cancelled after three seasons in 2002, only to be brought back three years later due to popular demand - is shocked the series has gone on to be a huge success, and he relies on the ratings to dictate if he should continue with it.
"I never expected it to go on for so long. I ponder the end of Family Guy on a regular basis. It's important to know when a show has overstayed its welcome before your audience does. All you can do is look at the ratings. The ratings are still great, so there are still people watching it."
Seth has just made the jump from small screen to big screen with his feature-length directorial debut Ted, in which Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis star opposite a foul-mouthed teddy bear, and he insists cinema work is easier than cartoons. The 38-year-old star - who voices the character Ted and also wrote and produced the comedy movie - told Shortlist magazine, "If anything, I found I had more control. Rather than relying on 300 people to bring something to life over the course of nine months, you're relying on 300 people to bring something to life over the course of nine minutes."
Johnny Depp to Appear on Family Guy

Johnny Depp is to make a cameo appearance in Family Guy.
The Dark Shadows actor will return to his title role from 1990 movie Edward Scissorhands for a brief gag in the adult animation. The 49-year-old star initially struggled to get back into character, but found inspiration by watching clips from the film.
"When he was in the booth, he said that he felt like he hadn't done that voice since he did it in front of the camera. [But] he was able to snap right back into Edward Scissorhands once we pulled up a clip from the movie," Family Guy executive producer Mark Hentemann told Entertainment Weekly.
Johnny impressed everyone involved in the show with his performance - particularly the female cast and crew members. "He was amazing - and demonstrated extraordinary patience with all the fawning women in our office who swarmed him," he added.
Though it is not clear when Johnny's appearance will broadcast, the new series of Family Guy returns to TV on September 30.
