Eclipse WatchIf you are as big a fan as we are for TokyoFlash’s distinctive watches, maybe now is the time to treat yourself to one of their elite watches, such as their classic Eleeno Eclipse Watch for $112.99. In honor of Uminohi (Ocean Day,) a holiday for expressing gratitude for gifts from the sea and the prosperity of Japan, they are offering a coupon good for anything from ¥1000 (~$8.00) to ¥5000 (~$40.00.) That’s a fairly decent deal considering many of their exclusive models run only in the $60.00 price range. The only catch is that you must use your coupon before July 16.

4th of JulyHappy Fourth of July from MOBIVOX! The company that offers free and unlimited Skype calls without download has decided to pay back its customers with international calls today up to $10.00 with whichever phone you choose. With the service, if the recipient is also a subscriber all calls are free and if not, the rates start at just 1.9 cents a minute with no contract or connection fee. CEO Stephane Marceau certainly has the right idea with his gift that will give pleasure to those with loved ones or family that are overseas with long distance bills beyond their budgets.

Panasonic Blu-ray

Still on the fence about discs? The Blu-ray Disc Association has launched a promotion through September 30 that will offer five free movies with any Blu-ray player, including a Sony PlayStation 3. Similar to a deal that HD DVD ran with Toshiba earlier this year, 21 movie picks include such choices as “Pearl Harbor,” “The Italian Job,” “Kiss of the Dragon,” and one of our fave Brooks’ films, “Blazing Saddles.” The company also reminds you that if you purchase a Panasonic DMP-BD10A, you can receive another 5 films. Although we appreciate the offer, we still think we will stick to NetFlix for the time being and save our movie-catching budget for when the war is over.

Start MobileStart Mobile is responding to our desire for musical ringtones that can cost as much as or more than a full song price. M60s are minute long tracks that are downloadable to cell phones and/or mobile devices. The service also encourages independent musicians, bands, producers, and DJs to contribute with their own noble efforts, the only stipulation being that they must meet the 1 minute time requirement. To make the service user friendlier, Start Mobile has offered hundreds of the M60s free of charge for the next 60 days. Check out their site and try a few previews to see how much variety and talent can be had for the asking. Our props to the little dot-com that could.

The other day we gave you a first-hand look at some of the new features in Parallels 3.0. The guys over at Parallels just dropped us an email to let us know that the new version has just been released. You can now head on over to the Parallels website to buy version 3.0, which features Snapshots, SmartSelect, and 3D GPU graphic support. We will be heading over to Parallels HQ in an hour or so to get a first-hand look at all of the cool new features, and should have that video available for you here later this evening. Until then, check out our Parallels 3.0 gallery in case you missed it.

Star Wars M&MsDoes George Lucas offer his Star Wars licensing to everybody who asks? While we were creating our Andru M&M, we discovered these Collectible, Limited Edition M&M Star Wars Figurines. Our guess is that the public was not running rampant to snatch these 6-inch figurines up, for what used to carry a price of $45.00 apiece has now become $22.50. If you are a big enough Jedi freak and want to add them to your collection, you can find them on M&M’s site.

This is a sponsored post via ReviewMe, but all opinions are our own:

We know that the gadget habit can get expensive fairly quickly - trust us, we know. This is why we like sites like Dealighted. We just found out about this site, which is a tool that aggregates and arranges deals from all over the Internet in one place. They get about 650 or so new deals posted per day, and they actively monitor sites like Slickdeals, Fatwallet, and Anandtech, and identifies the most popular deals on those sites as well.

Anna Nicole PaintingOur eBay pick of the week has to be an Anna Nicole signed, original self-portrait.  The description states that the painting was done by the model between 2002 and 2003 and features her signature. The ongoing auction will close April 15. Its posting states, “This is a rare opportunity to own something so personal from Anna Nicole Smith!” The seller is hoping to make $1,700,000.00 out of the sale. Considering that the image portrayed could be almost anyone and isn’t even a blonde, we were not surprised that there are no bids as yet.

For those of you out there who would rather stick to your current computer setup rather than upgrading to something more recent (like, say, ), you may want to check out T-SAN Electronics for future reference. Based in Southern California, the company is an Electronic Component Distributor that stocks an extensive inventory of semiconductors, integrated circuits, batteries, and the like - even if they are otherwise hard to find or obsolete. As they put it in their message to us, “If you need a diode for a 1997 ASUS motherboard, we got it.”

If you’ve been following along with our Holiday Gift Guide 2006, you’re probably looking to pick up something unique and fun for someone you love or merely tolerate. Fantastic. But if you’re not looking to spend quite $100+ on them, because, perhaps they haven’t earned that much friend equity and hey, you’ve got a Wii to buy yourself, well, that’s just fine. The interweb is plush with amazing niche shops, terrific web stores that have all sorts of amazing and fun gadgets, toys and fun things for your desk. And with just two weeks left, it’s best to get cracking right now.

Our five favorite places to shop for cool people for under $30? Let’s see:

1) Wishingfish.com: With great desk toppers like Swiss Aromatherapy Pens and animal-shaped rubber bands, this diverse site has all sorts of goodies ripe for the taking. Pick them up a Smores Maker and they’ll be roasting marshmallows inside at what’s sure to be a very awkward, but soon tasty staff meeting in no time!
