Kanye West and Taylor SwiftA new tape has surfaced of Kanye West ranting after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

The "New Slaves" rapper famously interrupted Taylor Swift as she gave her acceptance speech for Best Video for "You Belong With Me" at the event, with a speech on why he felt Beyonce should have won. A recording has now emerged in which Kanye bizarrely seems to explains his actions were because he spent time re-writing his verse in Jay-Z and Rihanna collaboration "Run This Town," which was released earlier that year.

According to Gawkeronline.com, Kanye says, "I wrote my f***ing 'Run This Town' verse for a f***ing month! When I heard Eminem's verse on the Drake s**t, I went back and rewrote my s**t for two days. I cancelled appointments to rewrite! I f***ing care! You know what I'm saying? And that's what I'm saying. Because I did that, Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyonce!"

Timbaland, Jay-Z, Swizz BeatzTimbaland fell out with Jay-Z and almost didn't appear on Magna Carta Holy Grail.

The producer and rapper teamed up for the track "BBC" on Jay-Z's latest album, but it nearly never happened, as they fell out after working on Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3, released in 2009, together.

In an interview on REVOLT TV Timbaland said, "Jay and I fell out. I missed his 40th [birthday.] It was over petty stuff. It was more personal stuff and disagreements. It was not industry-related. It was personal, and I was wrong."

The stars, who have worked closely together for over ten years, reunited while Timbaland was working on Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience and resolved their issues when they realized they were "better together."

Ebony Oshunrinde

Jay-Z credited a 16-year-old unknown producer on his latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail. The 43-year-old rapper - who has worked with a string of high profile stars including Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams on the songs - decided to work with talented Ebony Oshunrinde after he was given one of her tracks by his friend Travis Scott.

The school girl - who is also known as Wondagurl - has only just finished 11th grade and she revealed she has received a lot of requests to work with her since appearing in the credits of the album. "It's a really good feeling. I want to show young people that they can do it. Travis texted me and said, 'I'm about to change your life.' Usually, that doesn't happen to 16 year-olds. A lot more people want to work with me now. It's pretty cool," she told The Sun.

Avril LavigneAvril Lavigne didn't want to sound like "everybody else" on her new album.

The "Sk8er Boi" rock chick feels the music industry has changed since she first broke out in 2002 and she was determined not to fall into the same trends as other artists on her upcoming fifth studio album. "The state of music now is very track-oriented -- modern dance. Sometimes with that type of music you have to be quite careful because it doesn't last long and I always try to have my songs mean something. You have to be careful with changing too much because people fall in love with you and they want you to stay that way. If you do exactly what the sound was at the time, then you sound like everybody else. People who follow the trend and rip all of the other sounds off, they start sounding the same," she explained.

However, fans shouldn't expect the angst-filled lyrics Avril, 28, was once known for on the new record. The "Girlfriend" singer says she is in a different place in her life since becoming engaged to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, and her love life has informed the lyrical content of the untitled album. "Lyrically, I talk more about other stuff these days instead of boy-bashing and break-up songs. Typically, in the past, my natural go-to in songs was boys and love," she added.

Demi LovatoDemi Lovato's new album helped get rid of her demons.

The "Heart Attack" singer found writing her fourth record, Warrior, very "therapeutic" and healing after spending time in rehab for an eating disorder and self-harm issues in 2010.

"My life has changed so much. I am vulnerable and honest in this record, the way I've always wanted to be. I was ready to come out of the darkness. Writing this album was therapeutic, it helped me get rid of my demons. I am a warrior now - I've been through so much in the past years, it was hard to find the courage to get out of it and write about it, I was afraid no one would understand my message."

The 20-year-old star admits being catapulted to fame on the Disney channel in her teens left her confused as to which direction to go in, and she fell prey to "temptations." Demi said, "I spent so much time trying to figure out what the right thing to do was, that I got distracted along the way by fun and temptations and that's why I ended up in rehab at 18."
