Preview of He’s Just Not That Into You
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: New Line, Romance, Comedy, Trailers, Upcoming Releases,
Although she recently admitted that she wasn’t a fan of Sarah Jessica Parker’s HBO series (“I never liked Sex and the City, the kind of thing where women only feel empowered once they find the Man”), Jennifer Aniston somehow managed to find herself in a movie that came to life because of the show.
In He’s Just Not That Into You, Aniston plays just one of several relationship-challenged characters in the ensemble piece. The film is an adaptation of the book written by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tucillo, two of SATC‘s former writers.
The romantic comedy - also starring Scarlett Johansson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Kevin Connolly, Drew Barrymore, Ben Affleck, Justin Long and Bradley Cooper - will debut on February 6, 2009…just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip,
Since 1995, Vanity Fair has been churning out legendary covers tipping its hat to Hollywood. And year after year, photographer Annie Leibovitz has been counted on to produce those stunning and memorable images. Remember the one with Tom Ford and the two nude ladies (Scarlett Johannson and Keira Knightley)? How about the cover with Uma, Kate and Cate?
This season, the magazine will honor the ‘Fresh Faces of 2008’:
Those pictured include: Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada), Amy Adams (Enchanted), Jessica Biel (The Illusionist), Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada), Alice Braga (I Am Legend), Ellen Page (Juno), Zoë Saldana (Vantage Point), Elizabeth Banks (Fred Claus), Ginnifer Goodwin (Big Love), and America Ferrera (Ugly Betty).
Make note of these ladies. Some of their careers will soar, while others will become faded segments of Vanity Fair’s history (e.g. Fairuza Balk, Jordana Brewster, Edward Furlong, Johnathon Schaech).

He’s Just Not That Into You: Another Barrymore Hit?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: New Line, Adaptation, Romance, Comedy, Casting, Upcoming Releases,
Hollywood royalty Drew Barrymore will produce and star in He’s Just Not That Into You. The star-studded cast includes Kevin Connolly, Jennifer Connelly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin. Based on the popular book of the same name, the flick is about relationships. Several intersecting stories will make up the movie, with Jennifer Connelly as a bored wife, and Kevin Connolly pines sadly for a woman having an affair with Connelly’s character’s husband. Drew Barrymore will play a woman who struggles with dating. Production of the film is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles in September. Will this be another big Barrymore hit? Why not? Adaptations seem to be working for everyone else.
