Sony RHT-G1000 Combines Furniture, A/V Gear

Sony this week introduced a new home theater system which is integrated into a television stand. The new RHT-G1000 is priced at around $1,300 and will be available in October.
The RHT-G1000, designed to match and support Sony’s BRAVIA LCD televisions, has a built-in A/V receiver and a multi-channel surround sound speaker system with virtual surround sound processing. Other features include a digital amplifier, 600 total watts of audio power, processing of Dolby Digital and DTS encoded content, rear speaker terminals, two component video inputs and one output, three A/V inputs and one output, seven digital audio inputs (four optical, three coaxial), and four analog audio inputs.
