Selena GomezSelena Gomez always tries to dress "age appropriate." The singer-actress is aware that she has a number of young fans and says she tries to wear clothes that they could also don.

"Obviously sometimes I'm going to dress for me. I wouldn't specifically want younger kids wearing a gown or a top that I wear. But most of the time I do wear things that are appropriate for everybody," she told People.

Along with having her own clothing, Selena, 19, is preparing to release her debut fragrance this year and she is hoping it is the first of many: "I'm so excited about my new fragrance which will be coming out soon. I think we're just going to name it after me for the first one because I think it would be simple to just do that for right now but I'm hoping this is the first in a line of perfumes, we'll see. It's going to be something different too because my fans are going to help me choose it so it'll be very fan involved. I've had some great suggestions from my fans already, they've been choosing some really good fragrances so it's very exciting."

Alexa ChungAlexa Chung has made her Instagram account private after being subjected to a barrage of abuse about her slim frame.

The 28-year-old TV presenter posted a picture of herself on the photo-sharing site wearing a short denim dress with bare legs and ballet flats, stood next to her mother. But users quickly laid into her naturally slight figure, labeling her "too skinny" and accusing her of being anorexic.

"I'm going to be very honest. I look at this picture and think 'This is a woman not eating.' Thus, I worry for women everywhere," one wrote.

Another responded to some fans' compliments about her legs with, "THIS degree of skinny is frankly alarming, sadly. It is equally alarming that people ENVY this degree ... as it is NOT a healthy degree of underweight. Certainly, they shouldn't want to be like this."

At first Alexa just hit back with a restrained "Hi, I am here. I can read," but after another two hours of insults she announced, "OK everyone, thanks for the teen angst discussions. People are different sizes. I'm not actively trying to be a thinspo for anyone. I am now making this acct private. Byeeeeeeee."

Nicki MinajNicki Minaj will release her debut fragrance later this year.

The "Turn Me On" singer has signed a fragrance licensing deal with Give Back Brands LLC to produce and launch her first scent, due in department stores this fall.

"I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances. This is yet another extension of my creative expression. I designed the scent and bottle with my Barnz in mind," she said in a statement.

Nicki has made no secret of her desire to have her own scent, saying recently, "Hopefully I'll do one this year. I like scents that feel summery, but have a va-va-voom. I want to smell like a sexy and confident woman, not like candy."

Nicki - who is famed for her eccentric dress sense - is following in the footsteps of lots of celebrities who have released their own perfumes, including Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham.

Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2012Jean Paul Gaultier loves Amy Winehouse's "natural" sense of style.

The fashion designer's Spring/Summer 2012 couture collection is based on the distinctive look of the late singer - who was found dead at her London home last July - and is surprised few others have drawn on the Back to Black star for fashion inspiration since her death.

"I was surprised when she died that no one in fashion made an homage to her. Her look was fabulous, fantastic - it was unique. Usually, actresses and singers need fashion advice. She naturally had the right make-up, the right earrings - it was a truly a style. She didn't just pick up one part of that look. And I love her voice, I love everything about her."

After the Amy-inspired collection was unveiled in January, the singer's father Mitch spoke out against it, branding it an "insult."

Oscar de la RentaOscar de La Renta is taking over Nicky Clarke's Mount Street premises to open his first London store.

The New York-based designer will take over the retail space next to Roland Mouret and Jenny Packham's stores, and just opposite the Connaught Hotel, which the hairdresser has occupied for more than 20 years, in a deal said to be worth more than $800,000.

"The rent was due to go up, as it does everywhere. But we felt this was a good time to move - we are relaunching ourselves. Sometimes a brand needs to move to be fresh. If we weren't happy we wouldn't have moved and stayed with the same landlord. We have come to an amicable, compatible agreement. Grosvenor [the landlord] has made the move painless but there certainly wasn't any bribe," Nicky's former wife and business partner Lesley Clarke told London's Evening Standard newspaper.

Oscar, who was born in the Dominican Republic, is rumored to be paying close to $1.6 million for the lease.

Christian LouboutinChristian Louboutin decided to become a shoe designer after he saw a sign banning high heels.

The iconic footwear maker says he was inspired to create elaborate heels because dancers were forced to wear flats at the Museum of African and Oceanic Art: "I'd already decided I wanted to design shoes after I saw a sign in the Museum of African and Oceanic Art forbidding high heels. Well, who could resist?"

He then rang the Folies (the French music hall) and announced that he wanted to design shoes for the dancers. "Not that I ever designed a single shoe for them. But I got them coffee - and veal. So much veal. I couldn't work out how they could eat it all. It turned out they were using it to pad their shoes to make them more comfortable," he added.

Christian is famed for the red soles of his shoes but admits his trademark happened by chance: "This shoe arrived back from the factory but for some reason it didn't look quite as good as my sketch. So I used a bottle of red polish to coat the underside of the shoe scarlet. Problem solved.''

Toni GarrnToni Garrn has become the newest Victoria's Secret angel. The 19-year-old beauty has only previously walked one runway show for the brand - famous for its extravagant underwear - but has now been confirmed as signing a new contract.

Victoria's Secret has long been known for picking the most glamorous and beautiful women to take part in its extravagant shows, with Miranda Kerr - who was voted the Most Beautiful Person of 2012 earlier this year - among those famed for their connection with the brand.

Despite the glamorous surroundings, Miranda - who has 15-month-old son Flynn with Orlando Bloom - claims she is keener on motherhood and loves spending time with her child: "I want to spend as much time with Flynn as I can, and I'd want to put a lot of energy into him. He's the most beautiful thing, the best thing that's ever happened to me. It's wonderful. I'd say what makes me happy is having this little man. I'm the happiest when I'm surrounded by those I love and we are in a natural environment. It's the best thing I've ever done. Becoming a mother puts everything into perspective. You become more comfortable in your own skin."

Rob PruittJimmy Choo is to collaborate with Rob Pruitt on a new Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

The fashion house will join forces with the contemporary artist - who is known for his array of colorful work - on a capsule cruise collection, and the brand is hoping his influence will lead to the creation of some "very collectable and uniquely beautiful" products.

"We were captivated by Pruitt's energy, his computer screen use of color and the festive exuberance of his prints and materials; there were elements in his work that reminded us in subtle ways of the Jimmy Choo design iconography. We sensed that Rob's twist on Jimmy Choo glamour would yield something very collectable and uniquely beautiful," said Jimmy Choo creative directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway.

The collection will feature shoes, small leather accessories and handbags, and it is expected to arrive in Jimmy Choo boutiques and online in November 2012.

Miuccia PradaMiuccia Prada loves aprons.

The Italian fashion designer says she gets a lot of her inspiration from the lives of everyday women and uses the tradition kitchen attire for her collections because it symbolizes the tough lives some females have to lead.

"I'm interested in the lives of women in general, which is why I love aprons. The apron is a recurring theme in my work because it is symbolic of women's sufferance. It's an emblem of women's despair, their poverty, their passions. I love drama and romance. It's one of the reasons why I love antique jewelry - I like to live the lives of other women."

Miuccia - who works for Prada and heads her fashion forward sister company Miu Miu - has previously said she often wears clothes she thinks are "appalling" and sometimes hates her own signature style: "I get passions, I have to wear something even if I know it's really appalling. It's all about the fantasy of the moment and for about 20 days it's all I want."

Selena Gomez FragranceSelena Gomez was inspired to create her own fragrance by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The 19-year-old former Disney star had been yearning to come up with her own scent since falling in love with the Two of a Kind stars' body sprays as a child.

"I've always wanted to [create my own fragrance] since Mary-Kate and Ashley had their little body sprays - I loved those and was obsessed with them," she said.

And now her wish has come true with her perfume, named simply "Selena Gomez," hitting stores soon.

Explaining her decision to avoid the usual raft of whimsical names, the actress told US Weekly, "It's called my name, because I didn't want to get all philosophical with my first one. I wanted it to be representing me so it's really fun, very sophisticated and also fruity. The only way I can describe it is yummy!"

Selena tested the scent on her loyal fans, and even had them flown in from across the globe because their opinion is so valuable to her: "They're the ones wearing it, so I trust them - their opinions and everything that they've done for me."
