Kim Kardashian in ParisKim Kardashian has been blasted by PETA for wearing snakeskin boots.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was seen walking through the streets of Paris on Tuesday in a pair of thigh-high Christian Louboutin python boots. The fashion item sells for $5,495 and are banned in her home state of California.

A spokesperson for People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals compared her to evil Disney character Cruella de Ville. "They'd go well with a Dalmatian-fur coat, which is also illegal to sell in California and immoral to sell anywhere else,"  Wendy Wegner said.

It's not the first time the reality TV star had a run in with PETA. Kim was recently slammed in a giant billboard for wearing fox fur, which resulted in Kim being flour-bombed by a supporter during a red carpet event last March.

According to the California Penal Code Section 653o, it is unlawful to import python into California for commercial purposes, to possess with intent to sell, or sell within the state. However, it is not illegal to purchase python in another state and carry it over.

Amanda Harlech and Karl LagerfeldAmanda Harlech has been acting as Karl Lagerfeld's "eyes and ears."

The creative consultant is at the Chanel designer's beck and call, spending nine months away from home wherever she is required and often eating her dinner at 3am, according to her father, arts philanthropist Alan Grieve.

"If Karl Lagerfeld wants her in Tokyo, she goes to Tokyo - or Florida, or New York, or Rome. She works all day, eats dinner at 3am, when I'm sure she'd like to be in bed, and in between there are emails and texts and phone calls because he never stops. If Karl wants her to look at something, she flies out and looks at it. My guess is she's spending nine months away from home, which is very difficult. She isn't just a courtier; she's Karl's eyes and ears. She can instantly see how something might be improved and this is a gift... I know she's a considerable contributor to what Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel do," he said.

Kim Kardashian in Christian LouboutinsKim Kardashian owns 224 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes. The reality TV star loves the designer footwear and can't resist splashing out on the pricey heels.

"I have a collection of 224 pairs of Louboutins," Kim said.

Although Kim, 31, had a privileged upbringing, she claims the reason she can afford the pricey shoes and other luxuries is because she has worked so hard to build her own career: "Yes I was born rich; it was a classic Californian lineage: lavishness and ostentation, luxury mansions with pools, private clubs, exclusive friendships, and luxury cars. Despite the affluence, at only 31 I've been able to build my own empire in the world of entertainment and, although looks and friendships are important, I want the new generation to understand that if you don't believe in yourself and in your own ideas, you go nowhere."

Kim has dabbled in designing, acting and singing but admitted a career away from the celebrity also appeals to her along with the simpler things in life. "I would have liked to be a teacher, I always say prayers before going to bed, I would have liked to spend more time with my dad and speak with my fans."

Stefano Gabbana and Domenico DolceDolce & Gabbana will launch its first ever childrenswear collection next month.

The Italian design duo - made up of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana - say the line, which is aimed at newborns to 10-year-olds, will be just as stylish as their mainline as it has great importance to them.

"I didn't know much about this world, but Domenico's brother has three children aged two to six. The line is conceived as a further expansion of the Dolce & Gabbana world, in terms of product, design content, craftsmanship, function and positioning. This is an homage to Italy and to our tradition. It's part of our culture and marks one of the most important moments in our lives," Stefano said.

The collection will include daywear, innerwear, beachwear, accessories and footwear and the designers say they sought advice from mother as they know it needed to be practical as well as stylish.

"We interviewed all the mothers because the collection must be practica. We learned a lot, plenty of details. For example, it's better to have sleeveless onesies and freedom of movement - kids don't want to feel too constricted," Domenico said.

Zac PosenZac Posen says people need to put more effort into their fashion choices.

The designer wants a return to more glamorous dressing as he says it's important for people to take pride in how they look:

"We've had sort of an explosion of extra casual dressing. It's important for Americans to put more effort into what they wear. A lot of young people and adults are talking a lot about what they believe in now. It's important to dress as you believe and to enjoy fashion too. So many people are following fashion now. It's become fashion-tainment. People should dress [well] again especially for all the great American designers there are. This is a place to dress."

Zac also revealed how he wears all his own designs and recently had a few of his pieces re-created while in Asia. Speaking at the FNW/Trends luncheon at the National Arts Club in New York, Zac said, "That would be interesting to take one jacket and have it made in 19 countries. It sounds like a Prada conceptual art project."

Emma StoneEmma Stone won't take credit for her sense of style.

The Amazing Spider-Man actress - who is dating her co-star Andrew Garfield - claims her stylist Petra Flannery has complete control of her sartorial choices and thinks her style icon status isn't warranted.

Asked about her gorgeous red carpet gowns, Emma said, "My stylist is really into fashion. She's great with it!"

Petra's A-list client list includes Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana and Megan Fox, and she was ranked as the third most powerful stylist in the industry by The Hollywood Reporter in 2012.

Despite being known for her red carpet looks, the flame-haired beauty admitted her own sense of style is much more casual and low-key: "For me and my closet I have a lot of jeans and T-shirts and sweaters. I kind of operate in that area most days."

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson gets his fashion advice from Gucci's creative director.

The Twilight Saga heartthrob likes the Italian fashion house to dress him for his public appearances and relies upon emergency last-minute fashion advice from the brand's creative director, Frida Giannini.

"She taught me one thing - you should definitely have good contacts at Gucci. They're absolutely amazing. The amount of times I've been stuck in some random city and have called her up and had things brought in at absolutely the last minute - it's crazy. You can do quite crazy things [with color] if you have incredibly classic, really well-made suits. I guess I've been quite boring for a while. I used to be more interesting with them. Now I always just request things two days before: 'Can you send 25 suits?' I don't even know what I want to wear!" Robert told the British edition of GQ.
